OTIE’s primary function is our commitment to your interests. We will tailor our services to meet your needs.
As an added benefit, OTIE can provide specific staff and equipment to expedite construction administration during the execution of construction projects. Examples are coordination and review of submittals, scheduling, estimating, surveying, site layout, and records management.
Concurrent with observation and administration, OTIE offers an active engineering and design department which can be immediately engaged to provide technical assistance on related issues discovered in the field, potentially avoiding costly construction interruption.

OTIE assisted the WisDOT project engineer, providing Construction Observation for the $2 million reconstruction in downtown Mount Horeb. OTIE provided direction, inspection, public relations, and documentation for reconstruction of the intersection of STH 78 and STH 92 from a stoplight to a roundabout. OTIE provided consistency in Construction Observation for milling, base patching, and overlaying the road-way, installation of storm sewer, decorative brick pavers, and crosswalks; and decorative lights on Main Street. |

OTIE provided field engineering for Quality Control (QC) and project documentation for underpinning of the center pier footings for two bridges carrying I-90 over the Blackfoot River at the Milltown Superfund Site remedial action in Missoula, MT. Duties included overseeing all QC for cofferdam construction, concrete coring, caisson drilling and new concrete construction, and installation and removal of the floating platform, made up of nearly 85 interconnected floats and barges, used to complete the construction. |
